Eco Lodges Projects
Eco lodges, also referred to as eco-friendly or sustainable lodges, represent a form of tourist accommodation dedicated to minimizing their environmental and societal impact. Their popularity is on the rise as travelers seek conscientious and sustainable ways to explore the globe.
The emergence of eco lodges creates a distinctive opportunity for entrepreneurs and investors aiming to meet the escalating demand for sustainable tourism. These lodges can vary from modest, off-the-grid cabins to opulent, top-tier resorts. Given the limited permanent structures and amenities, the capital expenditure is generally constrained.
Emphasis is placed on communal gathering spaces, and there are restricted food and beverage options, providing greater flexibility for developers and landowners while still attracting premium rates.
Irrespective of their size or level of luxury, the defining characteristic of an eco-lodge is its unwavering commitment to sustainability.

Geysir Spa
Eco-Escape
The project brief from the client was to envision the design of a luxury eco hotel in the village of Laugarás within the Golden Circle region of Iceland.
The hotel is to be based around a strong wellness influence with the geothermal spring nearby being a incorporated into the site.
There is a strong desire that the guest experience is inspired by the Viking Gods and the architecture should incorporate opportunities for this to be achieved.
Each zone of the hotel; sleeping, dining, gathering and wellness will be inspired by a Norse God or group of Norse Gods that embody the qualities of these zones.
